This class allows you to explore clay and basketweaving as a combined art form. Students hand-build tow pottery bases in the first session. During the second session, students glaze and Raku fire their pottery in the morning and then create a spectacular piece in the afternoon. Dennis Ott works with us on the firing.
All we need are 5 or more interested in taking the class. Once I have the numbers and an idea of the dates that will work for everyone, I can schedule the class at the Sedona Arts Center.
Cost: $90 Materials Fee: $20 payable to the instructor
Class Session times:
Two Saturdays:
First Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Second Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Glaze pots, 12 p.m.- 5 p.m. Weave baskets
